It might only be the start of July but we've packed a lot into the first week!

July started with a bang with Ava dance at the Mission Canada Day festival. It was a beautiful day at a gorgeous park.
The festival took place at the Fraser River Heritage Park and we cannot wait to go back and explore the park for ourselves. It even has a restaurant on site that we've only hear amazing things about!
As part of her birthday, Ava requested that we go to the Aquarium. We had fun walking around and seeing the difference exhibits and animals, as well as learning about which animals come from different regions of the globe. The kids got a great up close and personal encounter with quite a few of them!
We just got back from a super fun adventure, camping in an oTENTnik in the historic Fort Langley! We rented one of these cute tents right inside the fort. It was amazing having the fort all to ourselves (and 4 other families), and to let the kids just run an explore after the park closed for the night. I highly recommend this experience to anyone (keep in mind there is a train nearby that does run all night). Train aside, it was such an amazing experience and one that I'm glad that we got to take all together.
